Say "I Do at the Zoo!"

The Historic Bronx Zoo was opened by the New York Zoological Society, now the Wildlife Conservation Society, on November 8, 1899. The Wildlife Conservation Society saves wildlife & wild places worldwide. We do so through science, global conservation, education, & the management of the world’s largest system of urban wildlife parks, led by the flagship Bronx Zoo. Many of the buildings at the Bronx Zoo are examples of classic Beaux Art architecture including Zoo Center & Madagascar!

Wedding parties can choose to have the ceremony on historic Astor Court either outside among the free roaming Indian peacocks or the home to our White Rhinoceros brothers, our historic Beaux-Arts Zoo Center features a spectacular arched ceiling. This exquisite area opened in 1908 and still reflects a one-of-a-kind old world grace.

For the reception, sip cocktails inside our Madagascar exhibit alongside five species of lemurs, Nile crocodiles, & other curious creatures or mingle with your guests outside with our California sea lions. Enjoy your reception in the Schiff Family Great Hall, which is adjacent to the Madagascar exhibit & is the first LEED certified green landmark building in the city.

Make your green go further! All event proceeds help support Wildlife Conservation Society’s mission to help save wildlife and wild places around the globe.
